I just think John Friend looks and seems very, very tired in this clip. But...how can you argue with the beautiful grace of the yogini doing Anusara yoga?

I am not sure how I felt about this, either John Friend (did he change his name by deed poll?) is a visionary or a fraud. It is always so fantastic to feel the element of laughter in a yoga class, but I got the feeling in this clip that this was always about John Friend 'the showman' and I found some of his commentary actually lacked sincerity and I felt that he was more connected to the music than the people and their practice. It left me strangely cold.

Hmm. So via the fascial trains, the movement of the big toe is connected to and affects the heart. So it makes sense to say you move the big toe FROM the heart? That is still not the same as 'touching the soul' -- and don't assume I don't experience the spirituality of yoga just because I don't buy into this fuzzy-wuzzy language. Why the over-the-top terms of endearment? I don't find the video 'spectacular.'
