I appreciated this article, as I'm doing homework for my teacher training. I particularly liked the description of the relationship between Tapas and Svadhyaya. This website is such a wonderful resource, chock full of so many wonderful articles, and if it takes ads to sustain this resource, than it is worth it.

Namarupa is the best mag on yoga you can download and its yours for about 2 bucks, all the ads are getting absurd even the nudity o sell oroducts is off the cuff.

I thought this article was well-written and very valuable to anyone on the yogic path, however, I had a difficult time concentrating with all of the advertisements flashing at me from all corners of the screen. Come on yoga journal this is materializing yoga at its worst. I used to subscribe to your magazine until I saw and add for some weightloss herbal supplement with a picture of a women pinching her love handles. I am disappointed at the path the magazine has taken and the way the website now looks. I am sure there are good reasons for the change but for now I will go looking somewhere else for inspiration because all I feel logging into to yoga journal is distracted.
