What a gorgeous article. As a forgiveness counselor and teacher, I know it isn't always easy to explain the nuances of how deep forgiveness goes - all the way to the heart of God. Thanks for doing such a great job!

Lise Liddell

This line resonated: "I must be flawed in some way to have attracted that hurt." Since I was tiny, I was told I was "jealous" and "selfish". My parents are gone, I'm 56, and I still love them very much. The trick is forgiving myself for allowing what happened in my childhood to keep me from success in adulthood . . . But as one thinks, so goes his/her world. As for change and healing, better late than never.

A really powerful article that has got me thinking about my life and my patterns of blame! Thank you. I think I have some thinking to do!
