We don't need philosofy because everybody has a diferent lifestyle and believes, and we can handle ourselves
Thank you so much for this article. I have been struggling with an intention I had made and realized, after reading this article, I had turned it into a goal and was expecting a certain outcome. Once I took the time to become clear and go back to my original intention, my entire reaction to the situation changed dramatically and I am more at peace with the same decision that was making me crazy only a week ago. Thank you, This was life changing for me,
Wonderful article! I'm a Life Coach and spend a great deal of time working with people to achieve their goals - but I find that such goals must always be guided by the client's core values first and foremost, and that whilst visualising the end benefit is helpful for motivation, it's actually more fulfilling and sustaining in the long-term to focus on the thoughts and actions of the present moment. Your article captured this thinking beautifully. Thanks!
It's humbling to need these touch stones and at the same time I am grateful for such clarity as this - thank you, jleighrice
Wonderful article! A clear explanation of making intentions. When I'm practicing in the studio, my teacher states "make an intention...something you'd like to keep in mind for the day." That's the end of that! Moffitt simply clarifies this by reminding us not to attach. That is what frustrates us. We do expect ourselves to be perfect and we need to remember that is a delusion. Intentions not ego keep us in control of our actions. Not an easy thing to practice. Thank you for your words of wisdom!
