Madonna, arguably America's most famous celebrity yogi, was recently named one of the Worst-Dressed Celebrities of 2009 in a list issued by the animal rights activist group, PETA. Wearing fur doesn't exactly align with yoga philosophy—though everyone has a different opinion on how to define the yogic observance of ahimsa, or nonharming.
Do you think Madonna is giving yogis a bad name by supporting an industry that harms animals? Or should we cut her some slack? (After all, we're all guilty of harming on some level, right?)
