Beyoncé’s powerful performance at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards—an homage to women, fertility, and motherhood—had her fans crying tears of joy, but what was also remarkable was the poise with which she displayed her pregnant-with-twins body in that gorgeous gold gown. Adele was all of us when she respectfully broke her Grammy in half!

Not surprisingly, Beyoncé has been known to practice yoga, which if she’s like us, helps give her that sense of body confidence and comfort in her own skin. Here are four celeb yogis who inspire us by rocking what they’ve got.

1. Beyoncé

Beyoncé has been known to practice yoga as part of her health and fitness regimen (here she is doing one-legged Wheel Pose), and she seems to have reaped its body-confidence building benefits. During her stunning Grammys performance, the superstar proudly flaunted her curves and expectant belly and paid tribute to the maternal body by reciting the following lines of poetry from Somalian-born poet Warsan Shire:

“Do you remember being born? Are you thankful for the hips that cracked?
The deep velvet of your mother and her mother and her mother?”

2. Lady Gaga

Haters tried to put a damper on the super-fit Mother Monster’s explosive Super Bowl halftime performance last week by calling attention to the slightest hint of a tummy roll, but she quickly shut them down on Instagram: “I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I’m proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too.” How does she stay so confident? The boundary-breaking superstar has said, “Yoga makes me feel like I can do anything.”

3. Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham, a regular yoga practitioner, has become something of an icon for the body-positive movement. As the Girls star explained on Instagram last month, “Okay, here goes: throughout my teens I was told, in no uncertain terms, that I was fucking funny looking. Potbelly, rabbit teeth, knock knees- I could never seem to get it right and it haunted my every move. I posed as the sassy confident one, secretly horrified and hurt by careless comments and hostility. Let’s get something straight: I didn’t hate what I looked like- I hated the culture that was telling me to hate it.” She continued, referring to her recent Glamour magazine cover, “Well, today this body is on the cover of a magazine that millions of women will read, without photoshop, my thigh on full imperfect display.”

4. Madonna

The body-positive movement owes a lot to Madonna, who has never been afraid to express what’s she got—and she still isn’t. Last May, the then 57-year-old megastar and yogi flaunted her pert derrière at the “Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology” Costume Institute Gala at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. And in September, the Queen of Pop lashed out on Instagram at critics who say she should act her age. “How do i know I’m still acting my Age? Because its MY age and its MY life and all of you Women Hating Bigots need to sit down and try to understand why you feel the need to limit me with your fear of what you aren’t familiar with,” she wrote.
