June will be a month of genuine love. There is new vital energy flowing through us, calling us forward, bringing us an inner shift, reminding us to prioritize the importance of living well, welcoming the full expression of us, and allowing us to attain wholeness and actualization. As we end the first half of the year, we are drawn to reflect, to look at which limiting behaviors can be released and what we are ready to let in. Our destination will be set by our determination to make each day a little better than the day before, enabling us with some choice as to how tomorrow will turn out.
Mercury, which is just out of retrograde, is still helping us take a step back and regain our perspective. The influence of Mercury is moving us to trust in our own abilities, showing us the wisdom we need to take with us into our next episode, and reminding us to let movement be our medicine.
Saturn retrograde in Aquarius
Saturn is an agent for karma and a facilitator for change. As the planet retrogrades in the sign of Aquarius from June 4 until October 23, 2022, it brings our gifts to the surface to be shared for collective healing. This time allows what we have learned along the way to be felt more deeply in our lives and lets us find the faith and confidence in ourselves to grow from each truth we have uncovered.
This moment in time awakens us to emotional maturity and allows for forgiveness of self and others where we have been denying it previously. Saturn retrograde turns us deeper toward love, asks us to check in with what truly matters to our hearts, and helps us let go of the stories and the heavy burdens of the past that we continue to carry in our minds. It asks us to acknowledge the lessons and see what is being given to us as for our highest good.
Saturn retrograde inspires self-discovery and reveals how we do things and why we do them that way. It shows us where what we have assumed to be truth is not always the actual truth. It pushes us toward completion, into lessons we have learned many times over, breaking the chains of time that bind us by helping us release old loves, jobs, patterns, structures, and resistances to reveal the inner beliefs that keep us from our greatness. Saturn generates a knowing that there is a reason for everything and reminds us of our will and our ability to make the most of whatever is present in our lives.
Saturn in Aquarius
Aquarius inspires reflection and action in order to create balance on the inside and the outside. The air sign activates our higher mind, brings compassion, and focuses our attention on the little things that we can do to build new habits in support of our well-being.
Saturn moved into Aquarius on March 20, 2020, and will move out of the sign on March 7, 2023. This initiates a domino effect of change and brings inquiry to our day-to-day life. We will be getting clear on our purpose, where we have expectations, and how we react or respond when those expectations aren’t met. These combined energies connect us deeper to the teacher within, awakening us to how we would like to do things differently, helping us keep up our commitment to healthful habits even when we struggle. Each moment in life, we are either reacting from our unconscious, experiencing feelings of pain and acting on impulse, or we are operating from the present, and responding to life by being awake, alert, and aware. Catch yourself if you start to fall back into reaction. Draw on your strength to rise above your old patterns.
These everyday decisions are not without significance. They exist within a cause-and-effect structure. They impact our lives, the lives of others, and our Earth, whether we see immediate results or experience them later. Saturn’s influence is always present when guidance is needed, when we need to see if we are going in the right direction. As we slow our pace, we can take the time to use our wisdom to decide which door to step through, whether “new beginnings” or “usual suspects.”
How to navigate this week
You have the power to move mountains out of your own way. Let the energies help you release any expectation of what’s still to come. Enjoy this time, feel a little lighter, absorb all that has shifted within and without.
Take a moment and find stillness. Linger as you exhale. Inhale and let that bring you back into your body, exhale and let the breath release any long-held tension. Soften your sensations. Check in with your mind and ask yourself, what matters now, right in the place where I am?
Spend some time in thankful reflection. Study yourself, care about how you feel, be gentler and nicer to yourself, let love for yourself be constant. rest more, invest in a more youthful spirit, soothe yourself, reach for things that make you feel better.
Time matters. Set boundaries with yourself on how you are spending your time. What would it look like to live life well? Are you ready to create this look?
Affirmation: There are no obstacles, only opportunities. I am ready for a new me to emerge.
