I just can’t.
I give up.
I don’t feel like it.
Do these words sound familiar? They should – because we’ve all felt this way before. We’ve all felt like we’re too weak, too timid, too small or ill-equipped to accomplish our goals. You know what I’m talking about…those moments where the thought of facing our challenges is quickly outweighed by the temptation for a night in with Netflix? Been there, done that. But not anymore.
It’s time to GET TOUGH.
I know you’ve heard it before, but giving up (or worse – not even trying) won’t solve anything. It’s not until we make ourselves uncomfortable that change is going to happen. And not just change – but pure awesomeness.
Of course, the definition of “awesome” will be different for everyone. It could be something as small as running 10 extra seconds during your morning workout to something as big as climbing Mt. Everest.
Awesomeness is what happens when you change your mind mid-sentence.
Awesomeness is jumping out of bed when your alarm goes off instead of hitting the snooze button.
Awesomeness is facing your challenges head on even when you don’t feel like it.
For the next week, I’ll be putting my mind, body and soul to the ultimate test. Not only will I be challenging my body through vigorous, multi-mile hikes, I’ll be channeling my inner strength to push me through it. If you haven’t figured it out, I’m embarking on a pretty awesome trip.
I am super excited to be teaming up with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 for what I know will be an EPIC adventure. The party starts TOMORROW, with a starting location of the Betatakin Cliff Dwellings. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a pretty extraordinary place. With less than 110,000 visitors a year, the Betatakin Cliff Dwellings offer a strenuous 5-mile hike complete with ancient rock formations, vast canyons, and – wait for it – indigenous rattlesnakes.
I know you’ll be expecting plenty of pictures, so I wouldn’t be taking this trip without my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, protected by none other than Gorilla Glass 4. The cliffs can get pretty high at Betatakin – so I’m going to need some tough glass to go along for the ride.
Stuck at home? No worries! I’ll be sending updates via social media – ALL. WEEK. LONG.
Join me for the ride! I’ll be tweeting, posting, updating and tagging throughout the WHOLE trip.
But don’t only pay attention to me! I’ll be exploring with these lovely ladies as well!
