Kathryn Budig Wants to See Your #WildTatas

Join her social media campaign to spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Kathryn Budig Wild Thing #wildtatas campaign

In honor of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let’s unite forces to spread the message of awareness. No one is immune from this disease. The best we can do is educate ourselves and take care of our physical bodies, which means self-checking and seeing the gynecologist regularly to maintain an open dialogue.

I’ve been blessed to work with three amazing campaigns spreading the word: Under Armour’s Power in Pink, Ford’s Warrior’s in Pink, and the fantastic organization Bright Pink. They’ve taught me that your voice and your knowledge are your most important tools. That’s why, yogis, I’m suggesting we gather the troops and use our asana as a way to weave a web of informed support.

I’ll start by posting one of my favorite heart openers to social media: Wild Thing (Camatkarasana). Then I want you to pick a pose that opens your heart, exposes your chest, and lets you shine. Remember this isn’t only for women! Men are affected by this disease as well, so gentlemen, please join us. Show your support, as we all expose our hearts. Post your photo to social media, using the hashtag #wildtatas to spread awareness.
