Jivamukti yogini Sharon Gannon recently released her new DVD, Chakra Balancing Yoga, which promises to “open and balance” the chakras through a series of asana, mantras, and affirmations. “When these energy centers are healthy and open, so are we—physically, emotionally, and in our relationships,” according to the DVD cover. “But when they are blocked through injury, illness, or disconnection from others, we are blocked from being our best selves.”
