She is author of Relax and Renew: Restful Yoga for Stressful Times and Living Your Yoga: Finding the Spiritual in Everyday Life (both by Rodmell Press). She is renowned for working with all levels of students, from beginners to teachers, with respect and humor. Restorative yoga is one of her specialties.
“Our generation has helped to integrate the yoga of traditional India into fast-moving modern America,” says Lasater. ” As the popularity of yoga grows, I know its impact on our culture will grow as well. As this happens, I hope we continue to broaden our definition of yoga, so we learn to live our connection with the sacred every moment.”
