Melody Moore, PhD, RYT, is a clinical psychologist, yoga instructor, author, and activist. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a BA in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology in 1999 and from the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical School with a PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2005.
She then completed a post-doctoral internship at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas’ Eating Disorder program, where she trained under Dr. Stephanie Setliff and Shari Scott, PhD. After ten years of dedicated yoga practice and at the urging of her mentor, Seane Corn, Dr. Moore completed her yoga teacher training at the Dallas Yoga Center in 2011.
After spending seven years in private practice specializing in eating disorder recovery, Dr. Moore became inspired to create Embody Love Movement. She chose to combine the healing tools of yoga, embodied experience, and psychodynamic therapy to create a program that would allow others to know that they are valuable and worthy.
