This recipe creates a delicious, health-supportive smoothie featuring a balanced serving of healthy carbohydrates, protein and fat. The addition of Moringa tea adds extra health benefits including detoxification and strengthening of the immune system. Enjoy it with less water for a thicker consistency, or follow the recipe to create a satisfying, cleansing elixir. Ingredients
- 1 generous handful mixed lettuce leaves (avoid bitter leaves like arugula)
- 3 small dried figs
- ¼ cup firm or silken tofu
- 2 tablespoons nut butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Moringa tea leaves (powder or leaf form)
- 1 cup filtered water
Preparation
1. In a blender, combine all smoothie ingredients in the order above and blend until smooth.
