Lärabar Recipe of the Week: Chunky Monkey Acai Bowl

Yum ... this recipe looks like a dessert, but it actually makes a delicious breakfast. Chunky Monkey Acai Bowl, featuring the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Lärabar, is creamy, chocolaty and nutty, and includes antioxidant-rich acai berries and high-fiber bananas for a burst of all-natural energy.


  • For acai bowl:
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 3.5-ounce frozen unsweetened acai packet
  • for toppings:
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
  • 1
  • , broken into crumbles


Place banana, milk, peanut butter and cocoa powder in high-speed blender. Run the acai packet under warm water for five seconds, cut it open and drop the frozen mixture inside. Blend on high speed until well combined. Pour into bowl and top with sliced banana, cacao nibs and LARABAR crumbles.
