Quince-Spiked Apple Cider

Ingredients
- 1 qt. apple cider
- 1/2 unpeeled, uncored quince
- 2 Tbs. brown sugar, optional
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 whole cloves
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
Simmer all ingredients in covered saucepan over low heat 20 minutes. Strain out solids before serving.
