When Swami Vivekananda attended Chicago’s World Parliament of Religions 1893, he called for a temple that would teach meditation and yoga to the masses. The building is finally a reality, 115 years later, reports AP. The 32,000-square-foot temple, located in the Chicago suburb of Homer Glen, opened its doors last weekend.
