YJ Tried It: My Yoga Practice Helped Me Through Using the Wim Hof Method
Sky went to Poland to train with the Iceman Wim Hof as part of the making of a documentary for the YouTube channel Yes Theory.

Iceman Wim Hof is known for breaking all sorts of world records withstanding extreme weather conditions including the longest ice bath, the longest swim under ice, climbing past the death zone on Mt. Everest in nothing but shorts, and running a marathon in the desert without drinking water. But Wim Hof claims that he can teach anyone to access their own inner power through his teachable method called, “The Wim Hof Method.”
The Wim Hof Method consists of three parts:
- meditation/concentration techniques
- breathing exercises
- gradual cold exposure
