Many Western yoga schools marry methods derived from the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions, but Natasha Rizopoulos’s unique training with master Ashtanga teacher Maty Ezraty and master Iyengar teacher Lisa Walford included fascinating discussions between the co-teachers from two seemingly at-odds traditions. Even years later, those dialogues left a lasting impression on Rizopoulos, founder of Align Your Flow Yoga, a senior teacher at Down Under Yoga in Boston, and Yoga Journal’s Master Class teacher.
