This week, we’d like to celebrate the life of Dr. Geeta S. Iyengar, daughter of world renowned yogi B.K.S. Iyengar, who passed away on Sunday, December 16 at age 74. She lived a fulfilling life and left a lasting impact on the yoga community. Her book, Yoga: A Gem for Women, her immense knowledge of Ayurveda, and the lectures and classes she delivered are just a few examples of her legacy that will remain with her students—and yoga communities all over the world.
We gathered special tributes from yoga teachers and practitioners who felt touched by Geeta Iyengar. Here’s what they had to say.
