About This Class
Join Trina Altman in this creative, playful yoga practice, which builds strength, mobility, and stability using a yoga block. This flow class includes spiral based movements to strengthen the upper body, deep core, and inner thighs. Experience the yoga block in entirely new ways where it becomes more than a prop to modify poses and is used to increase muscle engagement and body awareness through preparatory movements that build up to a multitude of side plank variations.
Meet Your Teacher
Trina Altman, BA, NCPT, is an E-RYT 500, YACEP®. She’s the creator of Yoga Deconstructed® and Pilates Deconstructed®, which take an interdisciplinary approach to foster an embodied understanding of yoga and Pilates and their relationship to modern movement science. Her work has been published in Yoga Journal, Yoga International, and Pilates Style magazine and her classes have been featured on Yoga International and Yoga Anytime. She regularly serves as guest faculty for yoga teacher training programs and leads continuing education workshops worldwide.
