Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga involves only a handful of poses supported by props—blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters—that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for five minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends.

Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, who created Iyengar Yoga with alignment and therapeutic benefits in mind.
